my fixture is a 2 bulb mogul base 175 watts each. i am looking for a ballast for this. i have a ballast box that from todays fire i am gutting and looking for new components to fill it. so i dont care what shape the box would be in. so if anyone has what i need post here and i will check back often. i am going to try to repair this fixture till i can save my :TWOCENTS for a new four foot t5 and/or metal halide combo fixture with lunar. i hope to have money after xmas for new four foot light. my 90 gallon tank is been doing good with the 36 inch fixture, but may be forced to buy 4 footer now.
i ave a 2x250 ballast. 250 bulbs should/will fit in ur fixture as long as they are long enough. the base is the same on them. is there an extra 3/4 of an inch in ur fixture?
absolutely. he even talked about overdriving his current bulbs until he swaps em out if he had to. the fixture is huge inside. positive it will work
could this run my 175 bulbs by overdriven them? i would like to get my life from bulbs before i have to buy new ones. if this would run my 175 watt bulbs how much are you asking? i can replace my transformers and caps for $110.
