and they will… (starve) very hard to keep them fed, or even to get them eating anything not in the substrate. good luck with him, and put a 911 on getting it eating, and eating ALOT
Thanks, I really want to get moving on it I don’t want to loose him very cool little fish.
Ouch you add both of those guys today? Pushing the lil 5 gal a bit much eh?
Yeah normally but there only 1.25 long both are real small. Pushing it would be getting the little atlantic pygmy angle also ;D But I didn't
GL wit the twin spot. even if they do eat, its not much. really they need something out of the substrate. I had one in my aquapod that ate mysis off of the sandbed, but i eventaully found his skeleton. hope ya used established sand. throw a mandarin in too j/k.
Yeah pulled the sand out of my big tank and through in about 40 pods last night all sizes so hopefully it’ll eat.
what kind of filter r u using? i gave brett a aquaclear 70, which he may or may not be using. it was modded for a HOB fuge. he may be willing to pass it along if not using, it would work perfect, and i cut the intake to fit in a 3 gallon picotope. also, if u want a skimmer, find a small bottle, kind of like the ca-3 or alk-2 reagent in the salifert test kits. cut the top off the lid, and cut the bottom off the bottle, leave about 2-3 inches from the bottm for a collection cup. cut a hole in the cup the size of the lid and glue that on the lid u have left for a collection cup. drop a wooden airstone in there and viola, nano skimmer for the price of a wooden airstone! at sears hardware they give these bottles away for free for people to put tap water in to be tested by them.
Theres a little hang on back filter with a carbon bag filter on it. Rated at up to 15 gallons and a 404 micro power head for circulation.
watched one of those twin spots at DPA yesterday, pretty cool

They are real cool, thinking about getting another. Did a little reading and higher aquarium powers of knowledge say that they do better in pairs. May need to move the yellow watchman to the big tank.
And to report both of the lnew little guys are eating mysis shrimp and flake food as of yesterday YahoO
Picture up-dates. Took the angle out and sadly the twin spot died. Added little royal grama and still have the the little yellow watchman goby.
