Well since I never did one this small kinda new to nano tanks but I had it sitting around and have extra rock laying everywhere why not set one up. Not happy with the light but it works for now. Only a piece of kenyon and couple mushrooms but there workin it. Tank was still little fuzzy in the pic. Hopefully get some updated pics tomorrow.

Nice little nano bill. The small tanks can be fun. I have tons of xenia let me know if you want some.[/quote]
Thanks Ellen, I got a bunch from Paul also.
Not sure whats going in there. Need to get the light and then I’ll start putting something in there.
i would get rid of the taxifolia before it plants too many hold fasts. You cant get rid of it later. If you want a benign macro that looks nice in the tank, i would prefer Prolifera. Its much easier to control. the tax keeps coming back from the hold fasts long after you get tired of it. the prolifera is nicer to look at and control for in tank macro.
that has been my experience with both. Ive kept rock infested with taxifolia, in a dark, unheated covered barrel with only an air stone for 6 months. But when i take some out to mount frags on, the taxifolia grows back. go figure.
It’s in my fuge Ken,have a couple pieces of rock with it on it. But not any in my display tank. That rock is easy enough to remove and clean if I need to so not realy worried about it. Just put it in there for right now for some movement.
