My cowrie looks just like that with the orange stripe. I don’t get to see him very often though, maybe like once every 2-3 weeks.

I am not sure what kind of mushroom - it was just a little thing when I got it - but the pic does not really give it a good look - I am pretty sure its considered blue in color
Is that a piece of PVC pipe under the rock?
Looking good man. Really like the firefish. Wish I had a tank with a lid on it, so I could keep one of them, but everything I have is too open. Might try feeding a little more to get that sun coral and anemone to come back a little.

yes - PVC under my rock (left to right) w/ a “T” in the middle - pointing right out the middle - my Fire Shrimp & Purple Fire fish are always in there - hopefully will get some nice coral line algae to hide the white color
Did you drill holes in the PVC or is it solid?
PVC is solid w/ no holes (one of the jets is pointed in the direction of the “entrance” - so there is some flow going thru it) - it works really well it was Andy’s (4n4sd4) idea - I only wish we could of camouflaged it a little better in some spots but I am happy w/ the set up & I think the fish & shrimp like it - I also see my one clown in there every now & than
You could always use marine epoxy to secure a little rubble around the edges of each pipe intake.
I a month or 2 it will be covered in coraline
Love the purple firefish and the clowns are different, are those hybrid or something? Not sure if I’ve ever seen them before. Nice looking tank, We just got our 12 gal up and running so we have got a ways to go.

I don’t think they are considered a hybrid, but not 100% sure - they are called “Black Onyx Clowns” or “True Percula Clown” - if you google or yahoo search “Black Onyx Clown Fish” should see some info - the tank is about 8 months old
