I think thats the name of the store. It is the store down behind pepboys at prices corner. They had huge tangs, and a ton of different fish. Their prices where nice, and everything looked healthy. Their coral selection has doubled and gotten a lot bigger. It is mostly Soft corals, but they have some SPS and LPS thrown in their. Right now they have a huge i would say 14" Clam… I forget what kind, but its the one that has the frills down the side. 200 bucks. Huge and good coloring… The freshwater selection was nice too, they had lobsters and stingrays. My first time seeing both of those animals. The tanks were all clean, and the guy was really nice. I picked up a fish, and would have gotten a coral but the padre shot that one down, and im out of personal money for corals…
If you like tangs, or want a huge clam i would definitly stop by and take a look…
i would have to agree some of the healthiest fish around and usually priced well especially for the quality.
he has alot of softies for now. he was still in the process of setting up the MH when i went last time. good prices on alot of the stuff and bills a nice guy (just talks alot, lol).
I have bought alot of rock from him too. i would say about 70% of the rock in my tank is from him
It is listed in Local Stores link at the top of the page
William’s Greenbank Aquarium
107 Greenbank Road
Wilmington, DE 19808(302) 994-1707
Though it does not have the ’ on that page in the name.
The store in the past was always real hit and miss and about 75% of the time stock was low. Since he got his new coral system set up he usually has a large selection of coral at all times, but it is still mostly beginner softies. It’s crab season now, so you likely didn’t see the owner, lol.
Billy has had some real nice stuff and since the new coral tanks were added he’s had some real nice stuff. It’s been a while since I’ve been there since I changed jobs. The big clam is probably personal stock he has a big clam tank.

its for sale though
Bill doesn’t keep any personal items in the store. If you believe his stories he tells about hundreds of gallons of SW being in his basement with thriving corals in them which he brings in to sell. Mostly softies like leathers.
Supposedly some of his corals are huge. That is if you believe a fishermen telling about the big fish you’ll never get to see. Sound familiar, “I swear the fish was THIS BIG.” Lol
It is a very different scenario then The Frazier Zoo where Mike keeps, “his†corals at the store and doesn’t sell them.
Wasn’t flat out calling him a liar or anything. Just saying when he talks about his corals being, “this big” you never really know. I know I’ve told people about how big fish are that I’ve seen in LFS or how large my eel has gotten only to return home and put a tape measure against my eels tank and found out he wasn’t really, “that big”.
Why don’t you take a camera over to Bill’s? Would like to see his set up and I doubt we’ll ever get him personally taking pictures on his own and posting them online. Would like to see the blasto colonies as well. Does Bill maintain that tank at his buddies?
I was in there last weekend getting some pond plants, and i was being followed around the store by a turtle that was about 2 1/2 foot around…awesome! i gotta take the kids there just to see it!
180 + 180 = 360… plus sump volume… maybe a total of 450. (with very large sumps of course) 450=25,000? not last time i checked. and 25000 is the story i got from him. dont get me wrong here, his coral setups r sweet… but the stories r undoubtedly stretched. :TWOCENTS
I think i have one of his home grown corals. a while back he stocked the new tank with a few hundred frags to corals of zoos and softies. all different sizes of the same 6-10 varieties. I think he said they were his. some blue zoos.

Afrer reading this post I decidet to take a look at this store. 1 out of 10 if you ask me.
Than I would have to rate Fishman a .10 Even that store in Newark, big but, a .7 for coral selection. Let me know where a 5 out of 10 is (local) so I can spend some money.

I’ve always went to DPA for supplies and livestock.
We went to the Frazer Zoo for the first time today, got a Red planet acro, blue bottle acro, and a green brushy. Mike was awesome to work with and talk to and had the best collection of SPS I have seen around. Beautiful colonies that he is growing in that store! Will post some pic’s tomorrow or Monday
Few quick pic’s from TFZ of our new corals Any suggestions on acro’s would be welcomed! I know a bunch of people in our club that have very beautiful open SPS, so I would love some suggestions
