I’d highly recommend using a Linksys WET610N for the wireless. They sell them at BestBuy. I’ve bought and returned 3 other cheaper madcatz wireless gaming devices. Even their tech support admitted they’ve had issues with them and it’s best to keep the receipt when purchasing.(so I no longer purchase them)
If your router is a wireless router it should work. If your router is a wired router only, then you’ll need a wire, lol.
Yes the wrt610n is a good router if u get this one best to shut down the 5ghz wireless feature. But if ur a gamer get the d link dgl 4500. The wireless speed is just as good as wired and you can set priority for bandwidth. Ex ur killing on cod the wife hops on Facebook and the game has priority over the computer YahoO but I’m sure you have a capable router already just have to do the bridge. If u can get a long Ethernet cable to wire directly it is much more reliable. I had problems with a bridge before but haven’t needed one in years ps3 is built in and wii too. I still wire the ps3 directly. Heard if police ride by the radar does something to your wireless. If you live on a main road it could be a problem. The wet610 is the bridge?? R they expensive? You have four apex setups? Do you have them all set up for outside access? And are you set up wired or wireless?
Tim, good to go on the Iphone. Everything is up. I can access it through the Iphone from the aquanote WIFI or not. Also, on the web browser from another computer. Now gotta learn the configuration part and weather to go wireless or hard wired. Thanks man, appreciated.

Unless you spend $1000 a month for a T1 connection the speed of very old school wireless is much faster then your internet connection. Paying more for higher speed gaming wireless devices gives the companies more money, but no speed benefit to you at all.

I get 62 mbps download, too bad anything i connect to is much slower. My linksys router only gave me 29 wireless. I switched to the d link and now wired and wireless are equal.
Well you can say a Ford is faster then a Dodge, but are you comparing a 2011 Charger to a Transit connect. Or are you comparing a mustang to a grand caravan?
Both Linksys and Dlink are brands which have made routers for over 10 years. You can find slower and faster from either brand. If you go into any store now you will have the choice between 150mbps and 300mbps at twice the cost. Your can get 62mbps downloads you say. How much faster will you download if you pay for twice the speed of wireless? Won’t matter because 150mbps is already faster then you can download.
For many years now all of the big stores and brands have made a lot of money off of people who don’t understand the speed of wireless really doesn’t matter if you are using the internet. If you want to transfer a movie from your desktop to your lap top and both have fast wireless speeds it won’t matter. But unless you are gaming against someone in your own home. Doesn’t matter.
Speed really really doesn’t matter with a Neptune controller. 
The weird thing is that the linksys router was rated high in the wireless category it was the wrt610n but it wouldn’t allow two ps3 systems to play the same game at the same time so i stepped to the d link. The apex doesn’t matter, to me if you can access your router and navigate well through the settings then your ok. I download movies from psn and when psn is fast i can download a standard movie in 4-6 minutes. Yeah linksys d link net gear or chevy ford dodge its your preference on which to like
I’m using Linksys WRT300N right now and it’s temporarily being hard wired to the APEX. Like you guys said, it slow other device down. I’m guessing it’ll probably slow down as well when it’s bridge wireless? So, I guess the next option is to get a different faster router?
Yeah it’ll happen the more you use the slower it’ll be but it could be slowing your entire Internet down. I noticed I had to power cycle the routerevery couple days when I had the firewall completely off. When I turned it back on I don’t power cycle hardly at all now. So for so weird reason with the routers firewall off it lost connection a lot. I wouldn’t be able to acces the apex several times a day.
