If those are without the VHO’s, I really, really need to consider this lighting setup for my new 150.
Nice!! It definitely looks deeper sea bluer than under the old mostly whiter LEDs. Time will tell how the corals adapt and hopefully thrive under the new spectrum/intensity mix . But i would still run them old VHO actinics for good measure. or at least for a transition period. then try to cut them out in 3-4 months, if that is your plan. it would definetly save some watts and bulb costs.
Hmmm, do you still have that post of when Jon dunked his digital camera in your tank and took pictures and video of it ,and all of us in the room from the inside out fish point of view? It was after one of the club trips to Dr. Mac’s, and we dropped by to see your tank. that had a good representation of the old light appearance from in the water and the fish/coral point of view. and of your curious fish hogging the camera view. That was cool.
