looks sick, nice find
Thanks guys can’t wait to get him under the real lights. ;D
What a beauty. I never really had the desire to own a clam before I joined these forums. Now I think I want one or two.
Which species can sit directly in the sand? Are any more hardy than others?
I’d like a clam that is pretty low maintenance and can sit in the sand bed. Smaller is better. I’d like a purple base and maybe a brown base one.
jason,
squamosas and derasas both live in the sand bed, both need less light, but both grow faster and bigger than croceas or maximas, which like rocks. BUT plenty of people keep croceas and maxis in their substrate, right over a rock the clams will attach to. btw, see you around 4:30 today
nice bill, i was looking at both the croceas and the deresa charlie had. which one did you get, bigger or smaller one? both were really nice. If i had the funds that would have been mine, cuz it looks like the one i had my eyes on

Thanks Justin
I didn't see the deresa so guess that one was gone. The one I got was the bigger of the 2 it had the best color.
