yes i knew him as well, he was realy in the business for the love of animals, and to help everyone else out. i bought many reptiles from him before i got into the reef/aquarium hobby, and his nephew owns one of my iguanas(hopefuly if it is still around). the comment was not to degrade him, and i dont feel it was disrespectful. it was meant more so as anything could have happend that night, nobody will ever know but three people, but in my heart, i dont believe it was an armed robbery, and no way was the mob part supposed to be taken seriously.
