I was pulling out a giant ball of chaeto from my reactor this morning when I realized just how nasty my sump had become. I started cleaning and before you knew it, my pumps had all come out and everything was getting cleaned. Funny how much more flow you get from a cleaned pump :laughing
The brown haze is starting to dissipate.

I just cleaned my sump out a few weeks ago my self it was nasty and my pump kept stopping because all the crap in there.

Same here. Pulled the entire sump out over the holidays and gave everything a good soak in citric acid. Everything is looking nice now.
