I wanted a wired IR extender as I have not had much luck with the wireless styles. Most of the newer units use a interchangable rechargable battery that transmits the signal and I was not interested in messing with them again.
I found a unit that had a nice design by Sewell.
I mounted it under my Samsung TV thats wall mounted. Now all my electronics are in the bar room closet and out of sight
Weird thing is that they sell the same unit fullfilled by Sewell on Amazon for $10 less (So I bought it on Amazon)
Do you know about IR’s for computers? Will any receiver with a USB end work the same, or are there different specifications depending on the program? I have a student response program that I need a new receiver for.
