got a video of my clowns doing the deed tonight, in a perfect spot for peeping ;D … right on the trunk of my toadstool about 4’’ away from the front glass ::… GolfC
Cool John. So, you just gonna let the nature takes its course? or are you gonna try to catch the frys if it hatch and grow them out? or better yet, now that you know that they are breeding pair take them out and try to breed them in another breeding tank?
Very cool, breeding clowns has got to be very very rewarding.
Great looking clowns. Perfect song for them too. Boy, don’t they just have the perfect life in your tank?
Congrats John ::
Thanks everyone :BEER
I’ve been waiting for this to happen for a while PBJ! I’m not sure if i’ll collect this batch, but I’m excited i finally have the choice. I’ll probably wait and see a bigger amount of eggs before doing it, although i could practice on a small batch ::
Very cool John - go for it, try to raise the fry, get rid of the couch and set up a breeding tank.
Light just came on, looks to be only a small amount of eggs left, maybe about 30? They (the mom n dad) just kept nibbling at them last night. I’m roughly estimating there was a hundred when they finished laying yesterday… is that normal, or just first batch normal?

They usually lay them and that’s the amount maybe some shrimp got them
