I just browsed the new grocery store flyers that arrived in the mail today. Looks like most of the fixins, Ground Beef, Steak, diced tomatoes, broth, beans and chili’s and stuff are all on sale at various stores this weekend. So I will make the shopping rounds and get the fresh stuff. Peppers and onions and things from farmers market. Looks like I can fit the Shredded Cheese for garnish into the club budget too.
That means a nice big Pot-O_Chili!

Ho Kay! John’s got the Righteous MP-40 Golden Ticket item, and I and others have some nice frags for the raffle, and the meat is now thawing for the chilli fest.

the chilli is getting close to the finish line! i stopped by entemanns and got some dognuts , cookies and pastries. all out of the chocolate chips though.
Great meeting once again. Even though I didn’t win the MP 40ws (wish I did), congrats to Marty. And once again Ken out did his self, GREAT chili! I had 2 bowls but could gone for some more, but I’m sure the wife wouldn’t appreciated.
I’m glad you all liked the chilli! I got home and spent an hour cleaning up the kitchen and pots and pans and big mess from making it. But its fun making it anyway for my friends. got just enough left over for Breakfast of champions! Life is good!
