We’ve got a great meeting planned for this month YahoO
October 15th 7pm at William Penn H.S.
Our president Craig has offered to give us a Tank Tour of his mixed reef system GolfC
… also its that time of year again to elect officers to run the club/forum for the next year.
So please, give us your :TWOCENTS here … http://delreefclub.org/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=28&topic=6582.0
and of course show up and cast your vote, and enjoy a Tank Tour “ala” Craig…
Food for the meeting is shaping up to be a Ken’s chili, and DIY taco night :-)###
and we’ll have at least 6 coral frags in the frag raffle tank
Oh yeah… Did i mention we’re raffling off one of these babies at the October meeting…
(i dunno if its the exact pic… i snagged it off the web… )
Well,
I’m in, got the fever reaaal bad after missing sept mtg. I’m sure to get a golden tix or 2 (like always)and i hope that extra time was taken to pick the gas outta the beans. :-)###

Glad you’ll make it this month… hopefully verdict_in
but now you’ve got me scared! i wasn’t thinking about the consequences of chili / mexican with this group ::
I just hope william penn is in the rearview mirror before “they” start the fireworks
… and whatever you do, DO NOT pull Kens finger, no matter how much he pleads… Last time i fell for that i lost all my acros, and had to re-paint the living room ceiling
#@$^

Looking forward to the meeting is there anything we should bring BoNg[/quote]
Thanks for asking!
:BEER
The quick answer would be no, its your first meeting, just show up and enjoy!
I’ll mostly likely be posting closer to the meeting date a “who can bring some taco fixins or sodas/deserts” thread…
you’re welcome to check it out and participate, we won’t say no to any volunteer ::
but… :FLUSH) …i’d consider bringing cash for the raffle (holy S#!T an mp40),…possibly a small cooler if you win a frag (to transport it home nice and warm), and an appetite of course.
To “join” the club we ask a $10 annual membership fee, or $15 per family. well worth it! …
it includes a paid xmas dinner at Michaels, 10% off livestock at DPA, group buy prices, etc etc…
and it helps to cover club costs… fund all the food and fun every month and the forum 24/7…
and… potentially make up for a ridiculously insane raffle prize purchase ::
basically…it pays for itself
The Vortech for Monday nights raffle is supposed to be arriving tmmrw… YahoO
I’ll wrap it in plastic immediately, so all my drool doesn’t ruin the pretty box… ::drool::
We’re gonna hold off on the taco feast until next month. … blame the vortech :-("
::
But anyone that wants to bring something to accompany Ken’s chili, that would be great!
bring a dish, a dip, tortilla chips, a dessert etc… whatever you like to eat!
so far…Frank’s bringing cornbread, and I’ll bring something to munch on…
Any volunteers to grab sodas… ice?
btw… we haven’t forgot about the frag raffle this month… I know we have a couple being brought to us compliments of John “houndsbayman” who always has fantastic frags… just ask Dr. Mac, john’s coral fly out the door at PacificEastAquaculture…
We’ll also try and grab a few more frags that won’t be put to shame sitting next to johns stuff ::
