If you can’t make it Bill. Maybe we can get together and build one for you. I’m sure we’ll have time.

I am bringing a pair of soldering irons, solder, 2 glue guns, a power strip, heat shrink tubing, heating torch, needlenose pliers, a multimeter (for when mine doesn’t work) >IDEA<, and maybe some other stuff that may be useful. Can’t wait to fry stuff!

I’m gonna at least bring the stuff up , not sure how long I’m staying depends on how I’m feeling

I have the golden ticket raffle and the frags and bringing extra tools

I have all my tooling packed away in a toolbox and ready to roll for tomorrow night!

I have all the materials and supplies so nobody needs to worry about that. I will need additional tools and equipment so if u said you were going to bring something please bring it just in case. I will be bringing all my tools and soldering equipment as well. What i really need is a heat gun, grounded extension cords, and a power strip.[/quote]

I believe I am going to be able to make it up to this meeting!! This will be the first meeting for me. I am excited to finally meet some of you. I will also be bringing my husband along if that is ok.

With my late response I just want to make sure there is enough materials.

Same for me. First meeting and pretty pumped.

We have enough materials for 20 zappers, so anybody who wants one should be able to walk away with one. I’d like to get them all build tonight if possible, but we will see how it goes. With everybody working together I think we can pull it off.

Yay!!! I am excited. Just found some more pests the other night that need to go!! What do I owe for the materials?

Idk exactly, I haven’t gone over the reciepts yet, but it will be $15-20. There was some talk about the club subsidizing all or part of that though so we will see tonight.

thanks!

#@$^ >::: #@$^

Now I have to fix my daughters car tonight. John, houndsbayman, will pick up my kit and bring it to me. I would rather be there, but I gotta do what I gotta do.

Great night at the meeting. Thank you goes out to Brian for setting up this DIY zapper and to those who helped. I think some of the people still at the meeting putting it together and trying to to get it to work.

Also, thank you to those that showed up at the meeting, lots of new faces. Hope this will continues.

A huge thank you to Bryant for putting together a great build!!! GolfC I already fried a couple things tonight. Turns out it kills bristle worms too. Sorry we didn’t do introductions, its kinda nice to put faces to screen names. Maybe next month.

I had a good time at the meeting last night. I am glad I was able to finally make it to one. I am hoping to be able to make it to more meetings. It was nice to put some faces with names. I have already used my zapper and it works great! Beats using aiptasia x.

Glad everyone had a good time! Keep zappin’!!

Well I do apologize for not being able to attend this month. Especially since I’ve wanted a zapper for years and still haven’t gotten one.

Seems like it was an educational and fun meeting, drawing out not only seasoned club members but some new faces as well.

I hope to see them all back for Novembers meeting - especially since it’s election night ;D

Didn’t Bill get you some parts to make one? I’m sure Brian has some extra parts left over for you to make one.

Bill just sent me a message that he has mine. But I still would have preferred to be there to build my own.

Probably safer this way though.
