So yesterday I came home from work only to find that my bubble tip Anemone had got sucked into my power head intake. It was horrable as half of him clung to the glass for dear life and the other half mangled in the intake luckly the intake comes off so it was easy to get him out. But he just made it up to the impeller half his tentcles are lost and he has a slight tare but is still alive cause today he was moving around the tank any ideas on what to do with the power head how to cover it and whats the chance of this guy surviving? >:::
It should survive and you might end but with a bunch of bubble tips through out your tank
What type of power head? No question at all they are not all created equal. Could give better insight if we knew what you were working with.
Good chance your anemone will survive unless you have poor water quality issues.
I’d recommend running carbon at the very least. The anemone will be ok as long as your water is ok.
As far as the power head we are going to need to know what kind. Another concern would be why is the anemone travelling.
