Ops i bought a scolymia!

well i was messing around on the aquatic auctions website earlier and “accidentally” placed an impulse bid.
looks like i won the auction and will soon be a proud owner of a nice looking scolymia australis.

hahah thanks!..i really didn’t anticipate winning the auction. kinda just was introducing myself to their website aka bidding on expensive corals ( that’s what credit cards are for) Saint:). i’m not really complaining about the win,i feel like this is a really good price $131 shipped.

Careful with those credit cards. They will swallow you up for years and years. Trust me on this one.

Sweet coral though! I’m jealous.

thanks, i’m really impressed with aquatic auction’s selection…credit cards can def be bad, but i never carry a balance…i think everyone has seen people go into financial turmoil with frivolous spending. hopefully our politicians hear that msg…

They do have some nice stuff, but often times the bidding gets crazy and 99% of it is too much for me.

Thank god or I’d be out of work.

It’s not the politicians that need to hear the message - it’s the parents - parents need to teach their kids how to manage credit - it’s not up to the government to over-regulate the industry. Each time they do it just moves us one step closer to Socialism.

I’m not looking for an argument but everyone wanted the government to step in and help people by regulating the financial industry - thus the “Credit Card Bill of Rights” that goes in to effect this year - this little gem of a legislation is going to immediately dry up the credit market and make it so expensive that the only people that can afford it are the people who don’t need it. Think I’m wrong? Layaway is back because people can’t afford to carry a credit card anymore.

Nice coral BTW ;D

i was referring to the massive debt which has been accumulating over the past 10 years. I agree that a certain degree of financial fluency should have been instilled at an early age. however, the companies who zealously marketed loans should be held accountable as well. imo it’s both parties, banks and ignorance which combined to create our dismal economic situation. enough of the politics! haha thanks for the scoly compliment :BEER
