thanks guys. right now he’s trying, i think and i pray, to lure a pistol shrimp into a relationship. his eye is fully extended much of the time right in front of one of the pistol’s tunnels. the pistol is one of my first, and he’s never taken to either my hifin or y/watchman goby. i’m really hopin for some fireworks this time. ravens, 27 nincluding shipping
Nice looking fish! Are the hifin and the watchman still in the tank to? Any agression? Do you have a tight fitting lid on the tank?
Just curious which website? Seems you’re buying a good bit online have you asked any of the LFS if they can order these animals? Might save you the shipping charge and you get to see them before purchasing. No WYSIWYG images beat watching a fish swim and eat in person in my opinion.

jon, i very much like the lfs suggestion, and i agree completely but this time i had 3 specific fish in mind and there was no way to guarantee all three for one final accl my me. as it is one shipped died. i also agree with the wysiwyg concept. all my other fish watchman, hifin and 5 percs are dpa and fish bowel. ooops sorry for the mistype, but it is funny. i really really do like fbowl and much of my larger more expensive corals came from both places.
the ywg was missing from feeding tonight, but that’s not unusual. there’s no aggression at all except some minor stuff between the percs. funny thing is the starry blenny took over the hfin’s spot next to my magnet. tight lid is there. ive already found the hifin in my sock last month and now he’s a lowfin.
