Ah gotcha, I have some frozen that is high in spirulina (Formula Two) that I feed a bit and she seems to take it. I will look for that specific flake though.
Anyone else have a HUGE drawer of food?

Yeah. Other than Nori, purple seaweed and 4 kinds of flake food we also have a fairly large frozen selection: Frozen brine, Frozen spirulina enriched brine, frozen mysis, reef plankton, frozen baby brine, table shrimp, and two or three more that I cant remember.

Not any higher than flake that I am aware of. I feed frozen every 2 days and phosphates test at 0 on API and .002 on a scientific grade test kit (Its nice having a lab where you work )
I thought they were a lot lower then flake especially since I made my own. I would think flash frozen seafood would be best where available
Yea my hippo is growin faster than i thought… got her at about 3" now she’s almost 6" Most growth in a fish in my tank since my clowns. I feed mutiple things and nori but she woesn’t touch it… Scopas does though.
Just an update.
I’ve got her eating both nori and caullerpa now. I was able to trick her into eating the nori but cutting it up into little pieces like the flakes and feeding like flake. I would also put nori in the mix that I make up and feed it so she was used to it. I think the combo helped her start eating the nori. She now picks it off of a rock, eats it out of my hand (both the clown and hippo like to nuzzle my finger), as well as shes wiped out most of the caullerpa in their tank.
Both look nice, fat, happy, and poop a lot.
good deal. nice to get positive updates sometimes GolfC
And of course, some pics.
Poking around the caullerpa
Mmmm flakes!
Dory says “Follow me, I can take you to P.SHERMAN. 42 WOLLABY WAY, SYDNEY”
They are both looking great. I love my Dory. She is the biggest pig!! I just hope she doesn’t outgrow the 95 to quick.
I’m hoping she doesn’t outgrow my 75 too quickly! If I can get two years out of her before she is too big then I think I will be happy.
Marlin has been moved to his new home (for now) in the anemone with Nemo! (who is bigger…and female)
Dory is in her new home and the first fish in the 75
