Oysters

I’ll be heading down to the bay off Kent Narrows bridge to do some diving for fresh Oysters. Not sure if anyone had a ‘local’ style tank and would want to try out a few and see how they do. I usually end up with more Oysters than I know what to do with so if anyone wants to stop by and pick up some feel free. As fresh as they are they are great raw.

I love raw oysters - just don’t trust myself to open the shell and eat them without making myself sick.

Yeah I’d be the guy that opens up and eats 12 dead ones

break out the Tabasco

If you want to stop by tomorrow night I’ll be shucking some you can give it a shot, just don’t yak all over my floor.

I’ve got some Habaneros I could throw on…wonder how that would taste.

I may be able to do that - what time?

Probably anytime after 5 I should be working on getting drunk and shucking then.

eat away guys. love oysters, even as a veggie, few things are better!

Ymmm, have you tried barbequed oysters on the half shell? real easy, open up, put a dab of butter and a spoon of barbeque sauce on the open oyster, then pop on the hot que until it sizzles a little. all done, dont need nothing else but the cold beer.

Mmmm fresh out of the bay with a dab of cocktail sauce!

I heard eating anything out of the bay will stunt your growth.

I used to swim in the delaware river, does that count?

either one can give you the runs…
