Does the club still own a par meter?
I would like to borrow it to take some readings on my tank, if it is still available.
Thanks

I’m also in desperate need of taking some PAR readings. I have absolutely no clue if i’m burning the corals or if I’m starving them of light.
I’m not using it right now
You guys are more then welcome to use it
John I asked last year and was told it had a battery leak inside of it. It was supposed to be sent out for service. I’m not sure if that happened or not.
Thanks Bill for the offer to use your personal par meter. Not sure I can make this months meeting, so maybe another time.
good question. did we have it fixed or buy another>? or just borrowing Bill’s now.?
Frank was in the process of getting it fix. Not sure if he had time to do it. Who has the Seneye that we bought for the club? last I remember was Scott.
I have to dig up the email from apogee and get them to send the part and I should be able to get it back running, I think the part was $20.00 bucks but waiting to hear if that is the front panel and cable as the cable is ripped.

Any chances this was done? If not any way you can get me the info and I will work on it, I would like to check my new tank.
is this hard to use? id be interested in checking how my lights are doing on my 75gal
Its only hard to use if you don’t have hands. Joking, it’s very simple put sensor in water and it reads the light output.
Yes, I believe the club has two par meters out in the wild. One, Hudz is trying to fix and the other i think was last with an old member, last year. I will see if i can get hold of him and see if he still has it. he has sort of dropped off the site for a while. but still around.
I just haven’t seen him recently. different schedules.
We should get them back in service and circulation. The problem is we don’t have a regular quartermaster in charge of “Stuff”.
Well ken the secretary of the club doesn’t really have a purpose. That could be the 1 thing that person Could manage to take care of? Oh yea I’m the secretary… I have no problems with this
got ya. when ever someone has one to use i would be interested in trying it out
Sounds good to me , beady eyes. I’ll let you know when i find out about the one. haven’t been by the store lately when he’s on duty.
