What is in the bottom of your sump?
Yes its a 90. the sump is right up against the side of the stand and the skimmer is almost up against the other side. That rock in there. Thats the way the guy had it set up . So we just set up back up the way he had it until I could figure a better way to do it. I took most of that out of there last night.
Where is the return pump? Same side as the skimmer
yes its all on the same side
With a couple baffles added you can section that sump off, make a small drain section to the opposite side and have the middle open for your fuge and the other side for your return pump and the skimmer, that would not change.
I can bring my 10 gallon one that I did to give you some ideas.
sounds good!
Here is a pic of what Bill is talking about
looks good! I had gotten some info from some guys on here a few weeks ago about how to build one. Then I drew it up. Looks just like this!
Just another quick question before I go and buy everything. Would it be best to buy a media reactor for the de nitrater or is there a cheaper way to do it? I am going to run carbon as well. I am going to put it in a filter sock and attach it to the water return flex pipe. Will that work ?
Thought on using prime ?
the phosphate reactor im putting in the raffle could be adapted or modified for a media reactor. no problem.
if you come to the meeting.
And Have Chilli!
I am planning on coming to the meeting !! I seen all the comments about how good the chili is!!!
then i must endeavor to make the best Chilli I can, (Spock making a guess?) To live up to expectations!
No food sythesizers here! Nearly Phosphate Free!
Did I mention the TLF Phosphate Reactor in the raffle?
I can’t wait to try it!!! I have been wanting some chili. Yeah I saw that you added the reactor to the raffle!!
It’s a Two-Fer!
See You There!

No need to bring in the 10 gal. I am comfortable with all the info I got from everyone to go ahead and make one. Thanks!
Will bring in my RO sample !

Thanks! See you tomorrow evening!
Mare do you need a tds meter?
yeah i dont have one.
UPDATE:
I have actually gotten my nitrates down to where it will actually register on the color chart. It is still high (80ppm) though. Fish seem happier and are moving about more and their fins are starting to look better. The corals have started to open back up and get their color back!!! PoM
