UPDATE:

I have actually gotten my nitrates down to where it will actually register on the color chart. It is still high (80ppm) though. Fish seem happier and are moving about more and their fins are starting to look better. The corals have started to open back up and get their color back!!! PoM[/quote]

So, what are you doing to make it come down?

Water changes and I put one of those cut to size nitrate reducer pads in the baffle of the fuge.
I also added another power head as well.

do you think it is safe to place things in there now or should I wait until it comes down more? I want to get in on that group buy!

thanks!

Good job so far. You have until the night of the meeting to get the nitrates lower, if you get IN on the GB. What are you looking to buy?

I am going to do a water change tomorrow and then another on sunday. Hopefully they will be low enough to add some livestock.

I would like to get the rbta, watchman goby, sand sifting cucumber and up in the air if I want the blue hippo or the exquisite fairy wrasse.
