I just got back from eca with a real nice frag of a pink cap. It came off a huge one a fellow brought in just moments before i got there. the store owner said that this guy brings in real nice coral every now and then and it gets bought up right away. I believe it because the coral was about the size of a head of lettuce. the frag is about 3 x 2 inches for $ 19.99. so, if you want a pink cap , head up there…
Sweet deal. Just keep a close eye on it. Really isn’t a smart idea to frag up an SPS colony right after it comes into a new system and is not adjusted yet and sell off the pieces instantly before the coral has a chance to recover from the fragging. The coral is probably under a good bit of stress. That being said Monti Caps are pretty hardy.
