Pink torch coral?

Has anyone seen or head of a pink torch coral? Ive googled it, and looked for at online vendors and have only found the green.
I picked up a large pink coral today and cant really find any mention of a pink variant. It looks just like a torch so im pretty convinced it was labeled correctly.
Any info?

I’ll check a couple of my refrence books, but dont hold out… throw up some pics.

Here ya go! This thing is awesome, im glad i didnt pass it up. the polpys fully extended about 15 minutes after going into my tank yesterday. Its about 6" at its widest point.

Real nice

whats really cool and a little strange is it has two feather dusters that have been enclosed by the skeleton. you can see the one tube in the top picture towards the left. the other is at the top left hidden by the polyps.

i still cant find anything about a pink torch. the closest thing i can find is pink tipped hammers and frogspawns.

I think the feathery things that you are referring to are a type of barnacle. The live in corals and have a little “hand” for lack of a better word that comes out and filters the water. As far as your question on information, everything I have lists pink as a possible color, but otherwise care is the same.

PS. First dibs when you frag that.

possibly. i have no idea. they both have a tube like structure and when they extend they look just like a featherduster with conical, feathery appendages.

does anyone have any idea as to how uncommon the pink is?
