i hate winter…
On my zip 5 day forcast has nothing. Sunday only a 30% chance of a few showers.
Have my generator ready, and my battery back up already on my Vortex, and my Neptune to alert me if things go out. After so many years of tensing up at the thought… I can breath a sigh of relief and enjoy it! I love snow! Bring it on.
Let it snow. Let it snow. Let it snow!
It looks like the forecast is still up in the air.
way to be a downer Andrew.
Sorry Tim likely won’t be a great year for your business. The year I get a generator will be the year it doesn’t snow an inch! Murphy’s law.

LOL that would happen to me too. If my power goes out and yours is still on I’m renting that vortech backup lol!
$110.01 per day. Could save yourself a penny and buy one today!

No offense taken, I’m weary of snow plowing anymore but at least its not like the stressful shopping centers in south philly and center city and traveling up and down 95 dodging crashing cars like days of old lol
Oh boy. Last year my old boss called me to have me drive 30 minutes north of Philli 5 minutes after the state of Delaware lifted the shutdown on all driving in the state. Almost asked me to go work on a fish tank when it was illegal to drive!
I’ve seen shovels fly off of vehicles, people run over cones, and a two wheeled trailer missing a wheel with a computer chair slid underneath to replace it! Love hate relationship with I95. Not a fan when it’s covered in snow and wrecked cars!
I was usually the guy in the plow truck doing 65-70 past people doing 25 on I95 with 4 inches of slush on the road, running every red light in center city in front of cops and they don’t even stop you… heck last year I ran every light on rt 7 on the way to Craig’s neighborhood other than the kirkwood hwy one with a durango right behind me running them too… then he got beside me and passed me and it was a state police durango! lol.
On an over pass one year I had 4 cars collide in front of me and all start spinning like tops bouncing off the guard rails and somehow I dodged all of them by flooring it and hoping lol. The worst is when you are getting onto 95 and as you come down the on ramp a plow train gets in front of you and you have to do 20mph… ugh.
Anyhow I could tell stories all day lol.
Last year we ran into a plow train on route 1. All of Kent county from one end to the other we were in a line of cars stuck behind them. Luckily they did a U turn at the end of the county, but that was one long drive. We head down often times for an early Christmas as my brother and his fiancée spend most Christmass with her family. I think it was then otherwise we likely wouldn’t have even gotten in the car.
The roads around here are scary any time of year, in these conditions things get worse, as I type this the road in my development has turned white!
This one was one of my favorites, I drove right past it when it happened center lane of 95!
It hit the over pass if you cant tell lol!
LOl.
LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW!
Was about to head to DPA, but I am staying in today!
Roads are very slick out there, everyone be careful! Just stay in and play with your tanks YahoO
Jinxed myself, 8 years plowing and just got in a VERY LOW speed 12 car pile up in which the plow blade wiped out the sides of 2 cars and 2 slid down hill into the blade… I love steel…
Seriously Tim? You alright?
Yes, thanks for asking. I went to pick up Anna from school and the whole neighborhood is hills leaving the school, so on the way out there were already 6 cars on both sides that crashed into each other, as I passed them up hill to make a left the guy in front of me stopped to talk to someone while i was half way turned which made me break traction and go sideways down hill between all 6 cars which I dodged most of them but the blade caught one which pivoted me 180 degrees to rake the side of another car. Anyway came to a stop and 2 cars tried to pass and slid down the hill backwards into the plow blade horrible wrecking their cars. More cars kept comming but I traded ins info and left and heard several more crashed.
Not a scratch on the plow or truck :BEER
nobody hurt >LOL<
