Just picked up my first reactor and I am wondering what type of media I should go with. Any guidance is much appreciated!

What are you trying to combat with it?
Nitrates = Bio-pellets - not easy and has potential to crash
Phosphate = GFO - Bulk Reef Supply high capacity is the standard
Color or Smell = Carbon - Bulk Reef Supply ROC .08 is what I always recommend.
