Funny stuff! I guess the humor is lost on some.
It seems like a little play on the GAIA theory. That no matter how much we pollute the earth, with good or bad intentions, mother earth biosphere will work it’s way back to biological/chemical equilibrium in time. But we humans may not be included in the future. We can pollute our way out of the picture. Much like the coral reefs. they have been wiped out several times in the geological past by changes in the atmosphere and ocean chemistry from volcanic or asteroid activity, only to reform, anew but with different coral life forms. New mamals may evolve to dominate dry land. but not necessarily humans.
Gaia theory. life survives, adapts, evolves and goes on, somehow to make the most efficient, diverse use of the biosphere.
is that it?
