This is the red planet I bought from Mike at Frazer zoo. Been wanting to get this particular coral for some time now. Really glad I stop by TFZ.

Have to say I am jealous. Always wanted one of those, but someone stole one out from under me back when I worked at DPA and I was waiting for someone in the club to grow one out and frag it, but that hasn’t happened yet. Might just have to buy one for myself.
Nice frag John. I still have my red planet. It has been a real slow grower for me. It has been encrusting out forever. I did swap a couple of small pieces with Bret last month. It will be a while before I am ready to frag it again.
i almost pulled th trigger on that piece but did not because i had a piece i got from ellen that wasnt doing well. i still have a small piece that looks like it will pull threw. i hope your birdsnest is doing well ellen.
i love this coral and it has so many different looks depending on where you put it. i cant wait to see it as a large colony.
+1 on the slow grow. i got one in a frag pack online off reef central. the frag was small, less than a 1/2 in. it is pure green, and just now is getting a red tip(new growth). it has fully encrusted the surface of the plug and is 1/2 way down the side since i have had it tho. its been in my care about 2 months or so.

Its on my list of corals to eventually get.
