I got my DM-155e LED’s in today from Reef Radiance!!
Extremely impressed - looks like rolled off the showroom floor - came with 90º optics, the hanging kits just like any other “black box” LED, except I ended up saving about $75 for both of them. They’re full spectrum and have a different LED count / layout that the other black boxes have, which I really liked and hey - I saved $75. All of these pics were taken with my iPhone with no photo adjustments or anything. The lighting pics kind of suck, but to tell you how they go:
First pic - blues and UV only dimmed all the way down, second pic is the same channel at 100%
Then the full spectrum channel only from all the way down to 100%
Then both channels all the way down to 100%
You can’t really judge the intensity but if you look at the background, you can see it with them dimmed all the way down, then at 100% it’s basically gone. These things are bright as hell!!
Nice! They look almost identical to mine. These things are powerful so be careful when acclimating your corals. I’ve been following the advice on the home page here with no casualties so far.
Yes - I’ve been looking at that. It’s actually kind of funny to me that something so small can put out so much light. All I need are a few more things and I can hopefully get this system up and running - I’m in the last stages of equipment collecting right now.
that does look good take a picture of the dt and post then do one a month from now please i’d like to see the progress or at least keep us posted. I would like one

I would love to, but my system’s not up and running yet. Once I get everything going, I definitely will be posting more pics.

I emailed them about the big light that they offer
Maybe look to put 3 over mine[/quote]
Rick is a cool guy. I sent him an email before I ordered everything and he called me back within a few hours. We talked about all kinds of things but we cut it short. He was a the airport on his way to MACNA.
System’s still not up yet. I’m waiting on my Jebao WP25 to come in, then I should have everything I need. I picked up some Key Largo dry rock when I was in Virginia Beach a couple of days ago as well as some sand. Hopefully I’ll have it up and going in the next few weeks.

Many of the members have considered a Jebao WP25 or WP40. Would you be so kind to do a review when it is up and running?
They’re chillin in the box for now, I think it will be a little bit before I get this system going. I’ve been concentrating on getting my QT going which is cycling now and my 25 cube in my office. All I need for that one is a bag of salt and I’m good. Just been way busy.
When I played with them when they came in, I was extremely impressed although it did take a little while for me to get them. I ordered them right before MACNA and since Rick was going there, it took a good couple of weeks before I got them. Didn’t matter though - I’m in no rush.
Yeah it says it can take up to 3 weeks . I’m crunching par numbers that he gave but it is looking like they should work for me as long as I mount them front to back to help cover the depth. The 240 pro being 31 inches should work and I have a 10 watt led project I can always run along each side if I happen to need more light.
I think Rick will do a custom optic arrangement for you if you ask, not sure though. I have 90º optics on mine for my 90 - which is like 25" high I think?
