I use to do 18 hours on a reverse cycle with some overlap

I also run my on a reverse cycle form my daylights. Helps keep the PH a little more stable between night and day.

I run my 24/7/365.

I run my podunk florencent light 24/7 on my wet/dry / sump / fuge…more like a wet/dry with some macro and LRs in it.
