What’s your guys opinions? Here’s the pro/cons I came up with:
Through glass
Pro- cleaner look, doesn’t interfere with screens
Cons- structurally weaker (more holes), could drain more water during a power outage
Over top
Pro- higher tank level during power outage
Cons- lower flow (more bends), interferes with lids
Thru the glass! I wouldn’t worry too much about glass intergrity considering they sell RR tanks every day w/ holes drilled into em. Besides you have a blank canvas and could do some cool stuff and set up how you like it!
I say through the glass. You’re not going to drain anymore through the glass than over the top. It is all about here you have the outlet height.
