RO hookup

We got the Dual Home / reef RODI unit from Air, WAter, Ice Aquarium Reefkeeper RODI Drinking Water Systems - Air, Water & Ice
Does anyone know if the blue retaining clips go back on after you install the tubing. If no one knows we will find out the hard way (turn the water on).

yes, they help hold the tubing. push tubing in firmly and fully, insert clips, pull tubing a little bit to secure. no leak

They are the lock to keep the gust fitting from being accidentally pushed in and the hose released
