SO it came. Looked to be in good shape… VAGUE directions. Figured it out. Put hole in pipe… then i built a stand for the RO system. Hooked it up. 1 minor leak… and wola… ran the filters out for 2 hours. There is a lot of waste water. Anyone with RO systems, do you exp this too?
If it's a good ro membrain there will be alot of waist water compaired to good water.O okay, the problem is i cant put to much water down the drain as it will skrew up the septic… so i think i will put 2 55g containers and put the shut off on the waste…
Ahhh, so everything is perfect… 2:1 waste to RO… got 2 bruce containers drilled and everything set up in them… let the water making begin, ill try to get some pics of my set up

Second that. It is to be expected. There are things you can do to cut down on it but it involved spend more $.
Or there are plenty of ways to use the waste water. Try searching around for “waste water” or similar searches on this site. Ken uses his to both fill his clothes washer and do water changes on his pond I believe. Others water their plants with it…This topic has been discussed in the past a good bit.
Ya i read a lot yesterday, its looking more like 3;1 but ya… im happy i got it maby i will actually keep up with waterchanges and top off now.
Jon made a good recommendation a while ago…you should start clippin pics now…and watch the transformation after you start using the RO…
my coralline took off like crazy afterwards, my clowns are dancing now like they want to make babies…
and my coral…ahwhwhw…soooo much better, water soo much clearer than even when i bought RO from the store weekly…
whats your next investment going to be? did u get a TDS meter?
Wish I could follow my own advice, but I can’t afford replacement membranes right now, so my TDS is way to high, lol.
I dont have a TDs meter need money for that too lol…
