Road Trip Pics

I have to take a road trip tomorrow to Baltimore and received an invitation from Josh of Bare Bottom Corals to stop by and check out his tanks and frags. I met him at our last frag swap while looking at some incredible frags he was selling. I am hoping to be able to get there and maybe take some pics of his setup and corals and also pickup some great frags.

I text him today and asked if he had any SPS frags and he sent me a pic of a tank just loaded with goodies.

Where is he located? I bought some zoas from him at the Feb swap and there was this one taht I am now kicking myself for not getting it.

Baltimore north

A+ stuff!! PBJ! ::drool::

Patrick you want me to pick it up for you?

Keep an eye out for some exotic sps and text me if you don’t mind.
jf purple monster I got from him this weekend.

ok jason I will let you know

Well all I can say is WOW!!! ;D

Josh has a huge incredible display tank and 2 frag tanks off of the DT for a total of 500 gals. Then opposite his DT are 2 huge vats for a total of 400 gals for his frag grow out farm system. What an impressive setup ::thumbsup::

He has something for everyone…very colorful zoas, chalices, montis, ultra acans, SPS and more.

I picked up 6 frags that are top quality home grown beauties. He let me take some pictures of his tanks and I will get them up later tonight.
A BIG THANK YOU to Josh for sharing his views and knowledge about corals and frags. The whole tour of his complete system was awesome :BEER
He told me he wants to be a club sponsor and can’t wait until he brings his frags to one of our meetings.

This last pic is an optical illusion. The glare from his vat tanks make his display tank look half empty

::drool:: :SURRENDER wish I was closer!

how long of a ride would it be for you to get to Baltimore?

Atleast an hr. Guess that’s not too far… did you get anything good from him?

Yes, what I think is good. 4 acros and 2 encrusting frags

Not sure of their names, a nice colored turaki, I think a highlighter acro not sure about that, and a blue pocilaphora which I have never seen before.Hope it stays blue in my tank.Don’t remember if the encrusting frags are leptastrea or montis, or one of each.

Putting them in DT today, will take some pics tomorrow

That’s funny, you are closer than me BoNg

It takes me 2 hours to get there and well worth the trip. And keep in mind all these corals are growing in his DT, before being fragged out. IMO, the best chance of a good survival rate.

Sounds like it was worth the trip how were the prices?

very reasonable

Sounds like the making of a club trip maybe setup a tour and on the spot group buy ? kind of like we do for Dr. Mac ?

It is a good idea because he has something for everybody.

If you guys go again I would like to join I do not mind driving to some ones house. YahoO
