Does anyone have a pump I could borrow? I just moved into a house with a well and I’m only getting 40 PSI at mist (usually even less) when plugging tlny Spectrapure directly into the faucet in the kitchen. I think my average now is 1 gallon every hour fifteen. My old house would do 4 gallons in less time. I’m going to order one from BRS in her next couple of weeks, so I just need one to make a big batch of water to tide me over. I’d hopefully only need it for a couple days.
Mods: meant to put this in the general discussion board. If someone could move it that’d be great. I tried to delete it, so I could post it in the right place, but it doesn’t appear I can do that.
Where are you located patrick? I’M in dover a could use mine for a fee days or week if needed.
I’m in hockessin. I’d gladly make the drive down. Thanks! Will you be around this weekend? How much of a pressure increase does it give you?
If you are handy, there is a way to bump up your water pressure , right at the water pump.
I am handy. My pressure switch is a 40/60, but was set to 30/50. I set to 40/60, but the pressure still sucks. I think I probably need a whole house booster pump, but the money involved with getting one of those is making it problematic to convince my wife.
I see. I had to put a booster pump on my RO unit, works pretty good.
Patrick I’ll be around this weekend for sure, tomorrow I’ll be home after 3ish maybe as soon as noon but won’t kno till tomorrow. I seen it go up I believe to 80-100 range. I can’t Remer off the top of my head. 7045306161. Text me and we can work out the details of pickup.
Casey, you are right it can be adjusted up to that high pressure. But the recommended pressure is @ 60 to 80, I believe.
