This is the place to list any group buy event. Only club officers and board members may start a Group Buy Thread. Any member will be able to request or suggest a group buy. Please post your request / suggestion in it’s own thread.
The “rules” for each Group Buy will be listed in the thread. When orders are due, how payment is to be made, when items can be picked up etc. If you have any questions about a particular GB please contact the thread intiator.
Group Buys are a means for us to all go in on the things we all need/want and negotiate better pricing. Clean-up crews, bulk dry goods, frags, etc. Please keep in mind you are not authorized to negotiate on the clubs behalf. Only club officers and board members may conduct business in the clubs name.
ANYONE FOUND TO BE NEGOTIATING IN THE CLUBS NAME WILL BE BANNED FROM THE BOARDS!!!
Unfortunately we’ve had people in the past tell vendors they were organizing a “Group Buy”, got a better price, and then only orderd a clean up crew for themselves. Makes the club look bad and makes it difficult to attract sponsors.
