so staring at the tank as we are all do. i was soon anoyed that the large toadstool looked un happy polyps retracted. i mused one of the 2 toadstools is allways pissed off, if ones polyps out the others are not. they are 2 different Sarcophyton sp any one else think this could be chem war or am i just staring at the tank to long. the only pic i have with both they are out dont help make my point.

Well I think you’ll have to take some more photos of the corals ticked off for us to get a better idea. From the long polyp extension I see in the image they both look like very healthy animals.
In my opinion I think it is possible that one sarcophyton is bothering the other, but I doubt it would be significant. Do you run carbon at all? If so how much and how often do you replace it? If you don’t run carbon you might try doing so and replacing it regularly.(your stonies will benefit from it significantly)
