Can someone from Delaware please post any info about William Penn High School

New Castle, DE being closed or open on Jan 26 for the meeting, hopefully before like noon on Monday.

We will post an announcement as soon as we hear something.

Looking at the weather forecast, it’s not looking very promising for tomorrow night. It’s supposed to tart snowing anytime now, and finish somewhere around 2-3PM on Tuesday.

Talk about a phenomenal miss by the weather people.

How about the schools that closed for today yesterday afternoon?

Back wehn I was a kid, they didn’t cancel school for anything less than 6", today, if they’re PREDICTING 2-3" school will close, if they think it’s too cold in the morning they’ll have a 2 hour delay.

Kids need to suck it up and stop being so pampered by the educational system.
