Hey guys, things are settling down so I’m going to start setting up the 90. I bought new sand for it since mine was a bit funky. Is it worth bleaching the old sand? Or will that not remove the organics?
PS- If anyone has lace rock they want to rid themselves of, I’m looking for some.
I don’t see a need to bleaching the old sand. Just make sure it is rinsed very well before putting it back in to get the “chunks” out. Since there will be no livestock in the tnak and it will need to cycle again I do not see a probelm of not getting everything out of the old sand.

I have a bit left. LMK if you’re up this way. I’m not too far from Fishman.
I will rinse the sand in salt water and add to refugium.
Thanks Ted, but I came onto a great deal on some today.
I saw a 75gallon tank/stand at a yard sale today for $35 but the wife wouldn’t let me buy it. I know someone could have used it for that price!
