my skimmer pump just stopped working ive took it out everything looks good but i cant find any way to take apart. its a sedra 3500 if anyone has one im interested in buying it.

my sedra did that from time to time. if u can take the impeller out, rinse it and rinse the chamber, and make sure the ceramic rod is in place. then it may turn back on. i have a askoll/laguna pump that doesnt have a needlewheel…
My sedra 3500 just froze the other day also. I have been using it for my skimmer on the frag tank. You can twist the intake piece and it will open so you can remove the needle wheel. They sell the wheel for @ $38 on line. I just ordered a whole new pump on Monday for $82 including shipping from a place called Aquadirect.
