Softies...Any danger?

Hey guys, I have a kenya tree on a rock and recently placed 2 stalks of xenia on the same rock. My question is should i be worried about the xenia killing the kenya tree? You can see what im talking about in my post under “Hi Everyone” there are pictures and videos of my tank.

Thanks
Casey

Neither one can really hurt the other.

Both the Kenya Tree and the Xenia are aggressive softies. They may not actively try to kill one another but they will quickly compete for space.

So by the looks of my pics should i try to move the tree?

I wouldn’t worry about trying to move one now. You’ll have a very cool looking rock in a month.

Just be prepared to frag one or the other (or both) and they fill in on the rock.

Both can be easily fragged off the rock but taking a razor blade and slicing horizontally across the stalk / foot.

Thanks for posting the pic amp.

Awesome thanks angel. The xenia was originally 1 large piece but seperated in the bag and i got the kenya a few months back as a small .5inch frag so i threw them all on the same rock and seen where it went. Growing alot faster than i anticipated.

Just wait till they really start to spread, then it’s hard to stop them.

When the tank matures you won’t believe how fast both the kenya and xenia will grow!!!
