I was wondering if anyone has an old metal halide something lying around I might borrow for a couple of weeks.
My son is doing a STEM project for school and needs a high powered UV light. I switched to LEDs too long ago and no longer have any MH lying around.
What size do you need?
I have one of bill’s old fixtures lying around. It is a 175 watt fixture with a SE bulb. You are welcome to it for as long as you need it!
Thanks guys - I’m trying one more option this afternoon. I started to have 2nd thoughts on MH when realizing that they’ll be used within reach of elementary school children - I think I’d rather have a failed experiment than 3rd degree burns on a 4th grader who got curious.
