strange snails. ID?

I cannot figure out what these snails are. I’ve posted pictures before and i cant seem to figure it out. they are checkered like a sundial, but do not show any other behaviors of sundials. and they don’t much look like them in shell shape or texture. I’ll post pictures again but I’m real worried.

Here is their behaviors. They only come out at night, they are very small right now. they run about the whole rock structure, never on the glass. And when I turn on the lights in the morning, they slowly go back into their holes. Here are a few pictures.

Try a google search for images of limpets and Collonista amakusaensis. Both perfectly harmless, but beneficial. Few of my tanks don’t have the same type in the top image.

I forget exactly what type of snail they are but I have them in my tank, in this color and in black and white, completely harmless grazers.

Okay I did look those up. thank you that is definitely what they are. I will release them from captivity =)

ya btw, some limpets do have a taste for coral flesh…just a lil fyi
