from what i know they are a large growing coral reaching around 3 feet across. they actually have 2 types of polyps. a short brown furry look then longer white snowflake looking ones on a leather that is a brownish. it is in the lobophytum family.it is photosynthetic and will only take very very fine particle food. i have seen only one of these in lfs’s since i got mine 3 years ago. mine was a 2 inch frag i bought at tpp for 6 bucks in there junk tank.

Ken I honestly hadn’t heard of it either by that common name. Quick google search for the name of a coral and throw in the word, “images” and you get a ton of pictures.(not always 100% accurate, but can help)

Tom actually has one of these as well that has gotten pretty big and ORA sells little 1" frags which definitly retail for more then $15.

Glen I’m going to have to pass on all but the toadstoll as money is short. Thanks for responding to my PMs though.
