Suggestion for new way for Over Flow

Thanks Tim. That is one of the options if I decide not to drill the tank. But I think I want to give it a try to see how it is.

If its the 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" bulkhead, i use plumbing drain pipe fittings. the curved 90 in a TEE on the outside. add a short piece of pvc to the top of the Tee to keep it from ever overflowing , and shove a wash cloth in the top opening. quiets it right down. plus the smooth curve ofthe elbow causes less turbulance. and ifyou place the overflow pipe to the sump a little off vertical, the water slides down the side of the pipe, not dumping. it all helps,

By the way where did you get that black skim box? [/quote]

It was given to me, and i think it was the inner box of a hang on type.
