T-Storms coming!

Just another warning. I think most of us have at one point unplugged our tanks and made sure in the event of a power outage there is no spills, but I thought I would put a friendly reminder out.

Also when you are leaving for a vacation or even away for your job during the week, does your family or friends know how to make sure your pumps are on?(both return pumps and power heads) May seem silly, but it is a good idea to show them where water should be moving and where corals doesn’t just sit stagnant. Then they can let you know if a pump fails to spin again when the power kicks back on.

Also consider using battery operated air pumps that switch on in the event of a power outage. For those who can afford them generators are nice.

Of course as I finish typing this the sun beats down on my through the window verdict_in lol, but the weather channel says 100% chance of precip and thunderstorms soon.

got to love power outtages nothing like doing tank cpr scoop jug from sump dump in tank

hence why my generator was a great purchase. $299 for a 4K Peak 3500 running watts. made by champion sold at tractor supply

It was terrible at my house tonight, but hey it all worked out fine… though water and electricity don’t mix… was getting shocked by my light and i fried a extention pad… so i raised all plug above the tank, and stapled into wall… to poor to afford the ones that trip when water hits them…
