Tank Breakdown- GIT R DONE!!!!! ASAP

Evetything is sold! Thanks everyone! PBJ!

Sorry to hear you are breaking down. Can you share images of the maxi jet pumps? I’d be interested if they were old school style, but not if they are the new ones. Is the GFO reactor a Phosban 550 by any chance?

Yeah, me too. I tried as much as I could to keep up with it but I dont think a half-a** job is fair to the fish and corals, so I will have give it up for now. THe Gfo reactor is not phosban. It is just a brs gfo and carbon reactor. I am not sure what the old school maxi jets are and I cant get a good pic of them because they are under rocks. I will try to get a pic for you though.

Sorry to hear about the breakdown, has to be a hard decision to make:( I may be interested in some of your livestock if we’re not to far apart, where are you located?

Tim-thanks. I live in smyrna.

Ah, ok, not to far I guess, I live in Federalsburg, about 10 mins. from Seaford. Maybe an hour from you. Maybe you can help me with some questions about your corals, I have a 6 month old 55 gal. tank with a 20 gal sump. 50 lbs. of live rock, a 2" sand bed and just a pair of clowns. All of my water perams have been testing good for a few months now, do you think that any of the corals you have would be a good choice for a newbie?

Sorry to hear about the breakdown, but glad you know what is best for fish and corals. I am interested in your light fixture, can you maybe post some pics and tell me how old the 4 bulbs are and what watts . I am coming up that way tomorrow for the dinner and could stop by.

thanks
John

Not to far away… What kind of lighting do you have? I would start off with the cabbage leather and definitely the kenya trees. I think they can almost survive anything. I would hold off on any of the sps or lps for a bit until you see how the softies do.

Gotcha...

If John passes on the light I’d want some more info on it

I have 216 watts of T5 ho lights. I’ve been told its enough for most corals so I’ll take the kenya trees and the cabbage leather. And I may be interested in some of your rock too. I’ll PM you my no. so we can set something up.

I will buy the Sea Clone skimmer. Is it the large or small size? no matter, i’ll add it to my collection. I run 3 of them now. I can use yours as a clean spare, to swap out with the others when they get clogged up with sponges and tube worms and calcium deposits. then i can clean them at my leasure.

I might want the tank when ur ready, filtration?

I have a 55 gal sump that I made out of my old tank. It has a compartment for the skimmer a compartment for the fuge and a return compartment that also houses the gfo reactor. I will sell that too for $60. I’ll post pics of that tomorrow.

im in smyrna too id be interested in some live rock maybe some other stuff too

I added a few more things I’d forgotten about. and I have a return pump I will post pics of. I have no idea what it is but if you want it you can have it for the price of $5.00!

I will definitely take the light when it is ready to go.

Thanks
