Hey all long time no see. I kind of fell out the hobby a while there was working so much between that and shooting guns and flying drones I had no time for the fish. So I finally figured it out I got out of the HVAC field and got a job In this hobby I/we love so much. I have been really lucky to do some of the things we have. So I figured what could be better then share it with people who also love this hobby. So as I learn to take decent pics bare with me I will post all the fishy porn I can.These first few pics are a joke to what I had in my old phone that is now broke. This is a custom 225 gal tank We set up it was custom made out of New Jersey ( will post company name when I get it) and the custom cabinet work is done by Rick the cabinet guy right here in Delaware.Here is a pic from the realtor web page of Papelbons tank right before we took it down ( he wants to get traded) and now it sits empty in our shop and I believe is for sale. Soon as you get off elevator wich is your front door you see this tank first thing with a view of the city right behind it the picture doesn’t do justice.
I’m not sure we have met, but welcome back. Looks like it was a nice tank, but that’s to be expected when your making as much as he is, to keep the bench warm.
Lol. I don’t watch baseball so I didn’t even know who he was or even really is. I believe we did meet I believe I started coming a few weeks around the time you started. I’m a younger guy allways with the wife and kids ( all girls)
Here is another tank custom build by same N.J company and cabinet work by Rick I just piped in the sump still need to pipe a closed loop right now I just piped bulkheads to a shut off. For now it’s filled less then half way just to check for leaks we will see Monday all seemed well on Friday. I also need to add substrate a fine Agronite. Will be homing very large biggest I ever seen Stars and Stripes puffer he won’t be staying in that tank long just a few days and a large green moray eel and a large Hipo Tang I’ll post some finished pics this week.
Since your into taking tanks down do happen to have any mp40 or mp60’s laying around that need a new home?
Not really into taking them down just has to be done sometimes actually it’s kind of depressing much rather build them but some people who have the money can spend 10k on a custom job and a year later call yo to remove it cause there bored with it or just don’t have the time anymore is usually why they go. As far as the Mp 60 I have a few new ones but no used ones around they don’t lay around long I always have people that want used equp. For cheap but next one I come across I will keep you in mind. Once the meetings start up I have been making a pile of used stuff we have to sell an get rid of and it’s a lot from radion LEDs Acan led lights blue line pumps sumps tanks it’s endless the extra crap we have first I need to go threw it and see what we want and don’t but I’ll post it and bring stuff to meetings for you guys. I just got a lighty used marineland 530c canister filter I might let go if I don’t decide to use it just got it today it’s in my trunk as I am on my way home.

Here is another custom tank same NJ co. It’s 400 gallon. Cabinet work by some Co.not worth mentioning out of Paoli, pa as you can tell by the 2x4 propping up the hatch they can’t find the right hinges to make it lock. This tank is at Sage Senior center witch is an upper class home. The tank has some base rock we got from a Florida quarry. Topped with some Haitian live rock we get.we are going to put 4 mp40 but I only have 3 in there right now, For lighting we used 5 Radion pro’s I used some aluminum stock U channel to hang them looks pretty good. Down below in sump we have 4 Berlin bags Reef octo. Skimmer, X3 reef oct. Reactor (bio pellet, phos, carbon). Of course an Ato and in back closet there is a tank to store 250 gallons of R.o for water change.
