There was a documentary the other night on Green Planet channel about his dive. Very interesting.
I herd the author of this book interviewed on NPR a few months ago. The book Plastic Ocean: How a Sea Captain’s Chance Discovery Launched a Determined Quest to Save the Oceans is on my “to read” list.
Sounds like a great first hand account of the growing plastic pollution problem that our oceans are experiencing.

Yeah, and Harleys washing up on the west coast too. The tsunami rinsed all kinds of stuff out to sea on its way back out from Japan.
